Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") governs your use of the Signa App mobile application and related services (the "Service"). It applies to everyone who uses the Service — admins and employees alike — and forms part of our Terms of Service. By using the Service, you agree to this Policy. We may suspend or terminate access for anyone who violates it.

1. Use the Service lawfully

You agree to use Signa App only for legitimate workforce-management purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws, including employment, privacy, and labour laws in your jurisdiction. Admins are responsible for ensuring their use of time tracking, location check-in, and monitoring features complies with the law and that employees are informed.

2. Prohibited conduct

You must not:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purpose.
  • Harass, threaten, defame, bully, or discriminate against any person.
  • Upload, send, or share content that is unlawful, hateful, violent, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Impersonate any person or company, or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.
  • Falsify time records, location data, or other work information.
  • Attempt to access accounts, data, or company information that do not belong to you.
  • Interfere with, disrupt, probe, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its security, billing, or infrastructure.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, copy, resell, or build a competing product from the Service.
  • Upload viruses, malware, or any code designed to harm or disrupt.

3. Signa App Talk & user content

The Service includes team messaging ("Signa App Talk") and other features that let you submit text, voice notes, and images ("User Content"). We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. You are solely responsible for the User Content you submit, and you must not post anything that violates Section 2 or the rights of others.

4. Reporting & blocking

If you see content or behaviour that violates this Policy, report it to us at support@signaapp.net. Admins can remove employees from their company, and users can block others within their team. We review reports and may remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts. We aim to act on credible reports of objectionable content within 24 hours.

5. Location & monitoring

Location and activity features exist to verify job-site presence and manage work. They must not be used to stalk, surveil unlawfully, or harm any individual. Admins must use these features only for legitimate business purposes and in line with applicable law.

6. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and cooperate with law enforcement. Depending on severity, we may issue a warning, remove content, suspend or permanently terminate accounts, or take legal action. We may act without prior notice where necessary to protect users or the Service.

7. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes are reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
